The Archana Sharma Foundation of Calcutta (ASFC) was started with 9 Founding Members under the guidance of Professor A K Sharma who was the President of the Foundation till his death. Professor Sharma’s continuous guidance during the early years of the functioning of ASFC ensured a smooth sailing of the foundation. The Governing Body which had initially 9 members (Founding members) later was extended and has now 12 members. The Governing Body with (a) FOUNDING MEMBERS (2009-2017); (b) GOVERNING BODY (2017-2019) after the death of the Founder and 1st President of ASFC Prof. A K Sharma on 6th July 2017 and (c) PRESENT GOVERNING BODY (2019 onwards) after the death of 2nd President Dr. Satyesh Chandra Pakrashi on 26thJanuary 2019 are provided below.
Apart from the Governing Body members, there are 20 General members in the ASFC society, who give their opinions on different administrative matters, ratify the decisions of the Governing Body of the ASFC during AGM, etc.
